Inventions: a Tweeting Kettle
Twitting KettleHere's a way to make money on Twitter (while its still fresh): come up with a usable appliance that can tweet. Two London designers decided to come up with a kitchen appliance which could communicate through Twitter. In contrast to flushing toilet twitter, which looks scary and unattractive, the Twettle actually looks good.
You may say - why would I or anyone else need a kettle that tweets? Well, I don't think you do, but it may be a good gadget for the office. The Twettle works via WiFi, connecting directly to the Internet and tweeting when it has boiled. If you switch it "on" yourself, you know that the kettle will boil in a minute or so. In an office, lets say, it might be helpful to know that the water is done so you can rush to the kitchen with a bag of powdered soup before the water is gone or to catch up on gossip as others make their tea (or coffee).
twitter-toilet_smIts pretty far-fetched in terms of get-rich-quick scheme, but if you can come up with an appliance quick enough you may have a chance to ride the wave and hope that Walmart picks up your product.
